Our COVID-19 Response Policies

Your Visit at Dental Sleep Medicine Offices, of Michael J. Selleck; Renaissance Dental Group

  • Upon arrival, please stay in your vehicle and call our front desk at (925)283-0338. We will ask you a few health-related questions if the COVID-19 Consent Form was not completed online.

  • To practice social distancing within our practice, we ask that only the scheduled patient will enter the office through our secondary entrance.

  • Per Contra Costa guidelines, a mask is required prior to entering the office. If you do not have a mask, please let us know and we will be happy to provide one for you.

  • Please remove any gloves prior to entering the office to prevent cross-contamination.

  • Upon entering the office, you will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

  • Your temperature will be taken by using a touch-less thermometer and entered in your clinical record. If your temperature is above 100.4 Degrees Fahrenheit, your reservation will be canceled, and required to self-quarantine for 14 days. We will re-evaluate your symptoms and reschedule your appointment.

  • All clinical providers will be wearing a mask and face shield during your appointment.

  • You will be escorted to your treatment room by your provider and will be asked to remove your mask then rinse with OraCare, an antibacterial mouth wash proven to kill the Corona Virus in the mouth, for 30 seconds. Please ask a team member for more information.

  • During your visit, you will notice changes made throughout the office to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our guests and team members.

Your Dental Team

  • All team members are required to wear a mask and wash their hands upon arrival.

  • Masks are worn throughout the entire day.

  • Health screenings and temperature checks are documented daily.

  • Every morning, team member rinse with OraCare which acts as a disinfectant in the oral cavity.

  • Prior to seeing our scheduled guests, we have morning meetings in order to better prepare for the day and increase efficiency and safety for all.
